Amplify is an interactive ELA (English Language Arts) and Science learning platform designed to strengthen reading comprehension, writing, and critical thinking skills. Through engaging texts, multimedia lessons, and hands-on investigations, students build literacy and scientific inquiry in a fun and accessible way. The program supports academic growth while encouraging curiosity and confidence in the classroom.
In the Social Studies program, students dive into history, culture, civics, and current events through interactive lessons, projects, and discussions. They explore how people, places, and events have shaped our world — while developing critical thinking, research, and communication skills. Activities may include role-play, debates, field trips, or creative presentations that make learning about society and global connections engaging and relevant.
Our Science program is guided by the New York State Science Learning Standards (NYSSLS). While we use a variety of resources and hands-on activities, our instruction is always aligned to grade-level expectations. Students explore scientific concepts through inquiry, observation, and experimentation, building a strong foundation in life, physical, and earth sciences.
All students, including Kindergarten, receive second language instruction in Spanish, Haitian-Creole, or French. Latin is offered to all fifth and sixth graders
